Wales' World Cup dreams shattered as Pumas pounce

Warren Gatland, Wales' head coach, expressed his disappointment but also acknowledged Argentina's impressive performance. "We're obviously very disappointed with the result," he said. "We felt we had a good chance coming into this game, but Argentina played very well and deserved the win."

Michael Cheika, Argentina's head coach, praised his team's resilience and determination. "I'm so proud of the boys," he said. "They showed incredible heart and never gave up. This is a special moment for Argentine rugby."

Nicolas Sanchez's late try proved to be the decisive moment in the match, sinking Welsh hopes and sending Argentina through to the semi-finals.
